Dreams & Goals & Desires &
As a performer, I seek to inhabit and create work where my and others’ individuality, queerness, creativity, and complexity are not only welcomed but celebrated. I’m drawn to collaborations that challenge conventions and expand how we perceive body, and identity—particularly through lenses of queerness, disability, and gender. I’m inspired by artists who build new music, dance, and theatre work from underrepresented or misunderstood histories (particularly the Black American Jazz Dance and Jazz Music Tradition), and by performance practices that serve as a form of community care—offering healing, joy, and release for both the artist and the audience. My goal as a performer is to bring curiosity, integrity, and authenticity into every story I help tell.
In my element.
