Choreography

Madison Hilligoss is a New York City–based choreographer and tap dancer creating rhythm-driven work for stage, film, and theatre. Their choreography blends musicality, storytelling, and style—drawing from the jazz and tap traditions while exploring new rhythmic and narrative landscapes. Madison is passionate about collaboration and crafting work that celebrates individuality, connection, and the expressive power of movement and sound.

Madison most recently choreographed the Off-Broadway revival of Sophie Treadwell’s play Machinal which played at New York City Center Stage II June- July 2025. This reimagining was distinct in its infusing of sound and movement through foley, percussive dance, and movement storytelling created by Madison.
