I am the Associate Choreographer, Dance Captain, and Swing for Anything Goes at The Muny Summer 2024 Choreographed by Jared Grimes & Directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge!

I recently had the incredible opportunity to be Jared Grimes’ as his associate choreographer for the Spring ‘24 Workshop of Lights Out: Nat King Cole (Written by Colman Domingo and Patricia McGregor) at New York Theatre Workshop.

In June of 2024, the short film I wrote, directed, choreographed, and performed in entered production! This project was a labor of love for me, and I am excited to share it with the world soon!

In June I collaborated with Hadar Landan on a soundscape: vocal and tap dance for her two part contemporary dance piece ‘Swimming Sonata.’

I’m the rehearsal director for the DLNY Spring 2024 Tap Dance Lab Cycle under the direction of Ayodele Casel and Torya Beard, Featuring choreographers Lisa LaTouche, Dre Torres, and Ryan Johnson!

I am teaching another 6 week absolute beginner workshop at BDC this Spring! Covering some basic history, movement fundamentals, basic music theory, rudiments, and intro to some traditional repertoire.

I am excited to be teaching a few open pay-what-you-can, donation-based 2 hour tap dance workshops in NYC this Spring.

I recently had the opportunity to dance for Liberty Styles’ set of original music at 3 Dollar Bill for Queerchella Music festival alongside dancers Orlando Hernandez and Tony Scott with Tony Davis on guitar.

I recently presented a duet version of I Can’t Help It with Jessee Leigh Robinson at The Craft NY at Wandering Barman & at Arts On Site’s Performance Party!

I briefly returned home to Minnesota to perform with Kaleena Miller, Aby Wolf, J.T. Bates, Cody McKinney, Bryan Nichols, and KMD dancers at Icehouse in Minneapolis.

I am a ‘23-’24 Changing Times Tap Dance Initiative Grant Recipient, and am really looking forward to creating a new short dance film this spring and summer with support from this grant.

I had the very unexpected and incredible opportunity to give Greta Gerwig a tap lesson & dance the shim sham with her for a tv interview special. Catch the full episode on CBS 60 Minutes. It was a real treat and honor to share the dance in this way. Will always amaze me the places #tapdance & teaching takes me.

For the 2023 Holiday season, I performed as a featured act in the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s Yuletide Celebration! Performances ran December 1-23 at the Hilbert Circle Theatre.

I was the associate choreographer on Bucks County Playhouse’s upcoming production of White Christmas choreographed by Richard Riaz Yoder and directed by Hunter Foster. Shows ran 11/18-12/31!

I was accepted to be an Artist in Residence at The American Tap Dance Foundation starting in September 2023. I’m looking forward to using the space to create new work for short film and stage.

I performed in QUARTET at The Southern Theater in Minneapolis with Kaleena Miller, Benae Beamon, Michael Love, and MN dancers from Kaleena Miller Dance. A composed and improvised sound-focused dance work, QUARTET is an evening length piece in 4 parts exploring abstraction, conversation, community, and supported futures. The work is a formal investigation of structure, sound, listening, navigation and choice.

I worked on the tap dance short film ‘Lonely World’ (Dir./Chor. Dario Natarelli) as the Assistant Director and Sound Designer, and danced in the final film as well as in pre-production with Dance Lab NY. We started pre-production for the film in September ‘22 and publicly released it on January 1.

As of June ‘23, I am officially on tap dance faculty at Broadway Dance Center and am currently teaching three weekly classes for a variety of levels (listed in image). Check out my Faculty Page or the BDC app or online schedule to see when I am teaching and register for class!
